Set after the Tet Offensive of 1968, when the Truong Son battlefield entered its most intense phase, the film tells the story of the first female volunteer youth who were selected and rapidly trained to become female transport drivers on the Truong Son route. Amidst bombing and shelling, they undertook the task of transporting goods, food, and evacuating wounded and fallen soldiers between the rear and the front lines.

Through the sacrificial and tragic journey of its characters, "Red Dawn" authentically portrays the courageous spirit and sacred camaraderie of the Trường Sơn soldiers of yesteryear.

Inspired by the heroic deeds and courageous fighting spirit of the first female driver platoon on the Truong Son road, "Red Dawn" is a profound tribute to the heroic female soldiers and generations of soldiers who sacrificed themselves for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The film screening program "Truong Son - Unforgettable Years" not only contributes to recalling the glorious historical traditions of the nation but also spreads the values of revolutionary cinema, fostering patriotism and national pride in today's young generation.
