"Make in Vietnam" chip embedded in bronze drum motif displayed at semiconductor exhibition in Singapore

From May 20 to 22, the unit in charge of semiconductor chip design of FPT Corporation participated in the largest semiconductor industry exhibition in Southeast Asia - SEMICON Southeast Asia 2025 (SEMICON SEA) - taking place at the Sands Expo Convention Center, Singapore.

This is one of the important events in the regional semiconductor industry, bringing together more than 400 global technology enterprises and thousands of experts and leaders in the supply chain of microchips and advanced electronic devices.

As a pioneer in the field of microchip design in Vietnam, FPT brings to SEMICON SEA 2025 the "FPT Chip Inside" ecosystem, committed to accompanying global enterprises with core technology solutions owned by Vietnamese people.

Within the framework of SEMICON Southeast Asia 2025, FPT made a strong impression on participants with its booth designed with the Vietnamese spirit, showing the subtle fusion between national traditions and modern technology. Inspired by the image of the Dong Son Bronze Drum, a typical cultural symbol of the Vietnamese people, FPT cleverly integrated practical applications of the "Chip Made in Vietnam, Made by FPT" into each motif on the surface of the bronze drum.

The stylized patterns have a beauty that blends tradition and modernity, while also containing a message of pride in chips created by Vietnamese people that have wide-ranging applications in life - from medical devices, smart wearables, fast chargers to storage devices such as SSDs.

At this event, FPT introduced “FPT Chip Inside” – an ecosystem built to serve businesses in the journey of developing semiconductor products, from ideas to realizing chips.

This ecosystem includes IC design engineering services, a portfolio of FPT-developed chip products, advanced packaging and automated testing services, and core IP solutions and turnkey design.

The FPT Chip Inside ecosystem is a step forward to help FPT bring Vietnamese chip products to become an important link in the world semiconductor industry.

The space inside FPT’s booth is designed in an open style, creating a friendly and accessible feeling for visitors. The two main walls act as “visual maps”, fully introducing the “FPT Chip Inside” ecosystem and outstanding applications of FPT chips in many areas of life.

From 2023 to 2028, FPT has and will continue to deploy PMIC chip product lines such as Standard PMIC, AC-DC Converter, Buck-Boost, LDO and LED Driver.

By 2030, FPT Corporation, FPT aims to train 10,000 personnel for the Vietnamese and global semiconductor industry. In addition, FPT is also focusing on developing this ecosystem in the field of microchip design, packaging and testing, to affirm that Vietnam will be an important link in the semiconductor industry.
