Waiting for the "party" with the acacia tree.

The "Huong Tra - Da Nang 2026 Rosewood Festival" will take place from April 24th to 26th at Huong Tra Eco-village (Huong Tra Ward). The festival is not only an opportunity to admire the flowers, but also opens up a vibrant experiential space where the beauty of nature, culture, and community life blend harmoniously.

This year's festival features more than 20 unique activities, including the opening ceremony which will take place on the morning of April 24th in the Vườn Cừa area.

Conveying the spirit of "Returning to the Origins" for Da Nang tourism in 2026, this year's Huong Tra Sưa Flower Festival features a series of activities related to environmental protection and restoration.

Mr. Tran Trung Hau, Chairman of the People's Committee of Huong Tra Ward, informed that on the opening day, Huong Tra Ward will release fish to replenish aquatic resources in the Tam Ky River and plant trees to reinforce the Con Chua area, contributing to maintaining ecological balance for the river confluence area. In addition, on this occasion, at the Vuon Cua area, the Center for Living and Learning for the Environment and Community (a non-profit organization) will inaugurate a bird-listening station, providing Huong Tra with another small meeting place for those who love nature and birds.

Another exciting new highlight that is expected to excite visitors to Huong Tra during this year's agarwood season is the hot air balloon tour, offering a scenic view of Huong Tra from above. For the first time, visitors can admire the beauty of Huong Tra agarwood village from a hot air balloon. The view will take in the endless expanse of golden agarwood blossoms, interspersed with houses and lush green gardens, and in the distance, the gentle Tam Ky River winding peacefully.

Community activities also contribute to the vibrancy of the festival. Participating in the " Discover Huong Tra" race at sunrise, experiencing tandem bicycle rides through flower-lined paths, or leisurely relaxing at the "Sua Corner Reading" area helps young people unwind, recharge their energy, and create memorable moments with this region.

In another aspect, modern experiential activities such as 360-degree photobooths, check-ins with mascots and robots, and the "Huong Tra Landscape" photo contest create connections with young people. These modern elements do not detract from the village's identity, but are harmoniously integrated into its ecological and cultural space.

Alongside the new attractions, the series of cultural and artistic activities remains fundamental, enriching the visitor experience. From incense offerings at village communal houses, art programs, ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) shows, to folk singing, all create a space deeply rooted in local culture. These activities not only recreate traditional cultural life but also help visitors better understand the historical depth of the region.

And as always, don't forget to stop by the banyan tree in front of Huong Tra village temple to write down a wish. Whether that wish comes true or fades away with the golden blossoms of the crape myrtle tree carried away by the wind, it will still be a beautiful memory of the crape myrtle-filled land of Huong Tra.
