Apple has just announced a new product launch event on September 9th (0:00 AM on September 10th in Vietnam time). Based on rumors, the devices that may be unveiled include the iPhone 17, a new Apple Watch, and other products such as AirPods Pro 3.
Apple rarely reveals product details before launch. However, the company has consistently introduced new iPhones in September since 2012.
This event is themed “Awe Dropping”. Besides the iPhone 17, these are some of the devices worth anticipating at Apple's upcoming launch event.
iPhone 17
The iPhone is always the highlight of every September event. This year, the standard iPhone 17 is not expected to have significant upgrades. The biggest change will most likely come from the ProMotion display technology, similar to the iPhone Pro, offering a 120Hz refresh rate.
Next, analyst Jeff Pu predicts that the iPhone 17's selfie camera will have a resolution of 24 MP, double that of its predecessor (12 MP).
Rumors about the product's hardware are still conflicting. While Pu suggests the iPhone 17 will use the same A18 processor as the iPhone 16, rumor expert Fixed Focus Digital predicts the device will have an upgraded A19 chip.

It's unclear whether the iPhone 17 will have an upgraded battery capacity. However, according to CNET , the Adaptive Power feature in iOS 26 may help extend battery life.
In terms of color, the rendered images by leaker Majin Bu on social media show that the iPhone 17 will come in black, blue, silver, purple, and green.
iPhone 17 Air
Unless something changes, the iPhone 17 will have an ultra-thin version (tentatively called iPhone 17 Air). According to Bloomberg , the device will be only 5.5 mm thick at its thinnest point, with a 6.6-inch screen (2,740 x 1,260 pixel resolution).
There are various rumors about the processor chip of the iPhone 17 Air. Previously, Bloomberg reported that the product would be equipped with the standard A19 chip. However, MacRumors predicted in early July that the device would use the A19 Pro chip with 5 GPU cores (down from 6 cores).

To optimize thinness, Apple will likely "sacrifice" battery capacity in the iPhone 17 Air. According to MacRumors , the product is expected to have a 2,800 mAh battery, although Apple may still equip it with high-density silicon battery technology, increasing the actual capacity by 15-20%.
The iPhone 17 Air is expected to feature only a single rear camera, similar to the iPhone 16e. The front of the device will retain the Dynamic Island notch, but the selfie camera will be moved from the right to the left.
While the iPhone 17 may retain 8GB of RAM, rumors suggest the iPhone 17 Air will feature 12GB of RAM, the same as the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max.
iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max
Similar to previous years, the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max are premium models. Based on rumors, the devices may switch from a titanium to an aluminum frame to optimize weight.
The biggest upgrade on the iPhone 17 Pro may come from the camera. According to rumors, the rear camera module of the iPhone 17 Pro will be larger. The lenses will likely still be arranged in a triangular shape, while the LED flash, microphone, and LiDAR sensor will be moved to the right.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts the telephoto camera on the iPhone 17 Pro will use a 48MP 1/2.6-inch sensor, an improvement over the 12MP 1/3.1-inch sensor of the iPhone 16 Pro. The optical zoom on the iPhone 17 Pro will also increase from 5x to 8x, alongside a 24MP selfie camera.

According to rumor expert Ice Universe , Apple is expected to increase the thickness of the iPhone 17 Pro Max from 8.25 mm to 8.725 mm. This would allow for the integration of a battery with a capacity of approximately 5,000 mAh, an increase of about 324 mAh compared to its predecessor.
If the information is accurate, the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have the largest battery capacity ever in the iPhone lineup. Additionally, MacRumors predicts the iPhone 17 Pro will feature a vapor chamber cooling system, which helps manage temperature more effectively.
The iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max are expected to be equipped with the A19 Pro processor, manufactured using TSMC's third-generation 3nm (N3P) process. The N3P process increases transistor density on the chip compared to the second-generation (N3E) A18, resulting in improved performance and energy efficiency.
Regarding colors, rumors suggest that the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will add new colors, related to the Liquid Glass design language of iOS 26. Additionally, other information reveals the products will come in black, silver, dark blue, and orange.
The new generation Apple Watch
Last year, the Apple Watch Series 10 received a significant upgrade with a slimmer design, larger screen, and several new tracking sensors. Therefore, rumors suggest that the Apple Watch Series 11 will only receive minor upgrades with a new processor (possibly the S11) and 5G connectivity.
Additionally, MacRumors predicts the device may use a new OLED display with higher resolution, better energy efficiency, and optimized brightness.
Back in March, Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman reported that Apple was testing a blood pressure monitoring system on the new Apple Watch. However, it remains unclear whether the feature will be finalized in time for a launch on the Series 11.
Additionally, the code in watchOS 26 mentions an unreleased feature called "Sleep Score," which may be related to sleep tracking.

Following its most recent upgrade in 2023, Apple is expected to launch the next version of the Apple Watch Ultra in September. Based on leaked images from iOS 26, the device is expected to have a larger screen with a resolution of 514 x 422 pixels.
The Watch Ultra 3's connectivity is likely to be upgraded with 5G, satellite services to stay connected in areas without coverage, including messaging and location sharing. The Google Pixel Watch 4 was the first smartwatch to support satellite connectivity.
Other rumored improvements on the Apple Watch Ultra 3 include the S11 processor, fast charging, and a brighter OLED display similar to the Apple Watch Series 11.
With the Apple Watch SE, Apple's most affordable smartwatch line is likely to get a new version. Although rumors are still scarce, MacRumors predicts the product will feature a larger screen (similar to the Apple Watch Series 7-9) and a new processor.
It's possible the product will switch to a plastic frame instead of aluminum to save costs and support a wider range of colors.
AirPods Pro 3
Apple is rumored to be upgrading its AirPods Pro line this year. Previously, the AirPods Pro 2 were released in 2022, and the company hasn't announced a successor despite continuously launching new AirPods models since 2019.
MacRumors first discovered code related to AirPods Pro 3 in the source code of iOS 26. Additionally, Bloomberg predicts the product will launch at the iPhone 17 event in September.
Based on rumors, AirPods Pro 3 will feature a heart rate sensor similar to the Powerbeats Pro 2. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts Apple is looking to integrate an infrared camera into AirPods, but the hardware is likely to be finalized in AirPods Pro 4.

In March, Apple was granted a patent for a headphone charging case with a front-facing touchscreen. However, it's not yet certain that this technology will appear on AirPods Pro 3.
In addition to other features, the device may be equipped with an H3 chip to increase battery life, improve sound quality, and enhance active noise cancellation.
Finally, Apple will announce the official release dates for its new suite of software, including iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, watchOS 26, and more. First unveiled at the WWDC 2025 conference in June, these apps feature the Liquid Glass interface and a host of new features.
In July, Apple released a widely available beta version for users to test and refine before the official upgrade in September.
