During the global cinema shutdown in 2020 due to the pandemic, the rise of action film Extraction on the Netflix streaming service served as an effective entertainment remedy.

A glimmer of hope appears for Rake when a mysterious man, Alcott (Idris Elba), visits, presenting Rake with a new mission: to rescue his wife and two children, who are being held and abused by arms and drug dealer Davit Radiani (Tornike Bziava) in a squalid Georgian prison.
Trouble is, Davit heads a criminal sect of religious fanatics called the Nagazi along with his brother Zurab (Tornike Gogrichiani). And when Rake and his team soon discover where the family is being held, the flames of vengeance are unleashed upon them in a cataclysmic battle that ensues.

An incredible sequence in which the cameraman uses a "one-take" technique to move the camera in and out of buildings, busy streets and moving vehicles with almost no stopping point. Director Sam Hargrave, cameraman and editors Alex Rodríguez and William Hoy "outdid themselves" during the 20 minutes of continuous filming of a prison riot, a shootout in a working factory and a moving train being attacked by a helicopter.
From the sound design to the brilliant stunts, this well-choreographed sequence keeps the audience enthralled with breathtaking action. The scene where Rake fights Zurab on a glass floor is unique to Extraction 2.
Although it is exploited from an old, familiar script of the action genre, it seems that Extraction 2 still has its own way to keep the audience watching until the end of the movie. Extraction 2 still has countless absurd points, however, for the type of movie that is "pleasant to watch", Sam Hargrave's work meets the requirements quite completely.
Extraction 2 (Vietnamese title Tyler Rake: Rescue Mission 2 ) was released on June 16 on Netflix.
