Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu pays tribute to policy families

On July 23, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the delegation led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu visited and presented gifts to policy families and people with revolutionary contributions in Hiep Thanh ward, Vinh Hau commune and Hoa Binh commune. The delegation was joined by representatives of departments, branches and local authorities.

The delegation visited and presented 6 gifts (each worth 3 million VND) to families of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers , families of wounded and sick soldiers in the above localities.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu visited the health of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Hai in Vinh Hau commune.

At each place he visited, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu kindly inquired about the health and living conditions of each family; at the same time expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers in the cause of national liberation and construction.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council informed about the situation of the province's merger: from the two provinces of Bac Lieu and Ca Mau now merged into Ca Mau province. The local government is organized according to a two-level model, ending the operation of the district-level government. In the initial stage, the operation of the new apparatus still has some difficulties, but he hopes that families with meritorious services will continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, encourage their children and grandchildren to comply well with the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws and policies; actively study, work, and be creative to build a prosperous and happy life.
