Also attending were members of the Party Central Committee: Chairman of the Committee for Culture and Society Nguyen Dac Vinh; Chairman of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment Le Quang Huy; Chairman of the Committee for Delegation Affairs, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai; Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee Vu Hai Ha; Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Ninh province Nguyen Anh Tuan.

The forum was held at Kinh Bac Cultural Center with the participation of more than 300 delegates, including leaders of relevant ministries, departments, branches, leaders of provinces, cities, districts, towns and experts, scientists, typical enterprises... in the country and in Bac Ninh province.

This is an opportunity for Bac Ninh to consult with domestic and foreign experts and research organizations on the orientation of the organizational model and operation of key projects and breakthrough developments in the province such as: Smart Computing Center, Digital Economic Industrial Zone, Concentrated Information Technology Zone, Capital Region-level Science and Technology Research Institute, Science and Technology Application Training Zone, etc. Thereby, contributing to the achievement of the goal of striving by 2030, Bac Ninh is among the leading groups in the country in terms of science, technology, and digital transformation potential, with some fields reaching national and international levels.

Bac Ninh has many potentials, advantages and opportunities to strongly develop science and technology, innovation and digital transformation such as: a solid economic foundation, favorable geographical location, a young, dynamic, creative workforce and a tradition of studiousness.

Implementing Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee issued Action Program No. 89 and the Provincial People's Committee concretized it with Plan 92, clearly identifying 4 breakthrough orientations for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation development:

One is, Building Bac Ninh into an important base, a pillar in Vietnam's semiconductor industrial ecosystem - an industry with high technology content, high added value and a leading role in the development of many other industries, contributing to enhancing Vietnam's position on the world technology map.

Second, Focus on building an innovation ecosystem, breaking through to become an innovation center of the country and the region, creating a favorable and attractive environment for creative ideas to be formed, nurtured and developed, promoting the entrepreneurial spirit, creating new products and services of high economic and social value.

Third, Promote digital transformation associated with the development of digital government, digital economy, digital society, digital citizens, strongly apply digital technology to improve the effectiveness of state management, develop the economy, improve the quality of life of people and build a civilized, modern, internationally integrated society.

Fourth, build Bac Ninh into one of the leading training, research and development centers of the country - investing heavily in education, training and scientific research, creating high-quality human resources and advanced technologies, meeting the requirements of the fourth industrial revolution and contributing to the development of the whole country.

To successfully implement the above strategic orientations, Bac Ninh focuses on building concentrated science and technology research and development centers; establishing a Venture Investment Fund for innovative startups, technology incubation and digital transformation; promoting the innovative startup ecosystem; promoting the application of digital technology in economic sectors and developing university urban areas, creating new growth drivers for the province.

The forum focused on introducing the province's planning and planning orientations and the models of organization, management and operation of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation zones in Bac Ninh province; at the same time, proposing practical solutions to develop the digital technology industry, develop digital government, digital economy, green economy, digital society, digital citizens, meeting the requirements of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation development in the province.
