Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Han congratulated Chol Chnam Thmay Venerable Thach Sok Xane, Chairman of the Patriotic Buddhist Monks' Solidarity Association of Tra Vinh province.

Accordingly, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Venerable Thach Sok Xane, Head of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Tra Vinh province, Chairman of the Patriotic Monks' Solidarity Association of Tra Vinh province, and Abbot of Ang Pagoda (Ward 8); Venerable Thach Oai, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Patriotic Monks' Solidarity Association of Tra Vinh province and Abbot of Kom Pong Pagoda (Ward 1); and Venerable Duong Van Na, Chairman of the Patriotic Monks' Solidarity Association of Tra Vinh city and Abbot of Cham Ka Pagoda (Ward 9).

The delegation led by Comrade Le Van Han presented gifts to Venerable Thach Sok Xane.

Visiting and congratulating retired Khmer ethnic officials including: Comrade Lam Phu, former Member of the Central Committee of the Party, former Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas; Comrade Son Minh Thang, former Member of the Central Committee of the Party, former Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc; the family of Comrade Thach Hel, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee; the family of Comrade Thach Du, former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Kingdom of Cambodia, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs , former Deputy Secretary of the Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee; and the family of Comrade Son Thi Anh Hong, former Deputy Secretary of the Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee.

At each location visited, Comrade Le Van Han provided a brief overview of the province's economic , cultural, social, and national defense and security situation in 2024 and the first few months of 2025.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the monks, the temple's management board, Buddhist followers, and retired officials. He also affirmed that these contributions have helped to continuously develop the province's economy, culture, and society in recent years.
