Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan: Accompanying businesses in the spirit of "5 together"

(gialai.gov.vn) – On the morning of September 7, at the headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee (Pleiku Ward), Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan chaired a meeting to listen to reports on the handling of difficulties and obstacles in a number of projects being implemented in the province. Attending the meeting were leaders of the departments and branches: Finance, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Industry and Trade, the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board, the Provincial Tax Department; representatives of leaders of a number of communes and wards and representatives of related enterprises.

At the meeting, representatives of relevant departments and branches reported on the progress of implementing the conclusions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the working programs with enterprises, as well as the results of resolving enterprises' recommendations since the Business Dialogue Conference up to now.

Accordingly, implementing the conclusion of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee related to Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company, Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company, Nutifood Nutrition Food Joint Stock Company and a number of projects being implemented in the province, the Department of Finance has coordinated with departments, branches and localities to guide enterprises to complete related procedures, ensuring compliance with the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and regulations of law.

After listening to the reports of departments and branches and the proposals and recommendations from companies and enterprises, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan requested the relevant departments and branches to review all documents and legal basis, report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee before September 15, 2025 to remove difficulties for enterprises. At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the departments and branches to study and seriously implement the direction of the Provincial People's Committee in Document No. 2826/UBND-XDCT dated September 3, 2025 on promoting socio -economic development of Gia Lai province in the period of 2025-2030.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the consistent viewpoint of the province is to always accompany the business community, creating the most favorable conditions to promote investment, production and business activities, with the motto "5 together": Listening together - Discussing together - Implementing together - Sharing results together - Solving difficulties together. With the spirit of "thinking big, doing big; only discussing, discussing forward, not discussing backward, not discussing difficulties", the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: All difficulties can be solved if they bring common benefits; when seeing common benefits, we must find every way to implement them.

For large projects of enterprises, departments and branches need to survey and review infrastructure; the province will proactively invest in traffic infrastructure to create conditions for enterprises to focus on investment, production and development.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee especially emphasized: We must serve businesses with the best attitude and spirit, as quickly as possible; absolutely no harassment, no making it difficult for businesses. Any work that is not done properly, causing businesses and people to complain, the relevant officials and civil servants will be disciplined.

For businesses, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan suggested that it is necessary to change the way of working, abandon the "begging" mindset; instead, they must clearly identify their own capabilities - what they can do well, where their financial strengths are, then they should focus on proposing for effective implementation. Once a proposal is made, it must be done thoroughly, for real, with real results. During the implementation process, businesses should not put the goal of maximizing profits first, because if they only think about their own interests, they will certainly fail in the future. On the contrary, if it is for the common good, the business will succeed - and that success will be sustainable.

The head of the provincial government hopes that in the coming time, the State and enterprises will continue to work together in the spirit of "sharing the same fate". He also noted that enterprises need to change their approach to the government by proactively proposing on the basis of closely following legal regulations. If any regulations are unreasonable, they should boldly propose adjustments and supplements, but all proposals must be based on the common interests, consistent with the actual capacity of enterprises and in compliance with legal regulations.
