The ceramic mosaic altar and statue of Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva in the temple courtyard - a sketch by architect Linh Hoàng.
Built in 1949, Linh Phuoc Pagoda has undergone a near-complete transformation since 1990 with numerous renovations and reconstructions. Ceramics and glass are used as the main decorative materials, inlaid on almost every surface: walls, ceilings, columns, railings… Recyclable materials are used extensively, with thousands of empty bottles and jars, and tons of ceramic shards cut, polished, and sorted by color, curvature, and thickness… The green of the bottles creates shimmering dragon scales; the white of the ceramics creates clouds…

Linh Phuoc Pagoda is not a typical "one axis - one courtyard - one main hall" layout, but rather a complex of multiple layers of space, drawing visitors in with its intriguing design.

The pagoda, adorned with mosaics made from millions of ceramic shards, is a sketch by architect Phùng Thế Huy.
Upon entering the temple grounds, visitors are immediately overwhelmed by the Long Hoa Garden, featuring a winding dragon statue (49 meters long, 1.3 meters wide) made from… 12,000 beer bottle caps. Under the sunlight, these glass scales reflect light, sparkling vividly. Along both sides of the main hall are rows of exquisitely crafted dragon columns inlaid with ceramic tiles, reminiscent of the architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty tombs in Hue .

Linh Phuoc Pagoda is decorated with shards of pottery, porcelain, and bottle caps, hence its nickname "Bottle Cap Pagoda" - a sketch by architect Tran Xuan Hong.
Furthermore, Linh Phuoc Pagoda holds a number of records. It is one of the pagodas with the tallest bell tower in Vietnam, with 7 floors and a height of approximately 37 meters. Inside the tower is a bell (2.3 meters in diameter, 4.3 meters high) weighing 8.5 tons, cast at the end of 1999. The statue of Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva (18 meters high, weighing 3 tons) is made from 650,000 immortal flowers, and is recognized as an Asian record. The flowers on the statue are replaced every two years. In 2014, the approximately 300-meter-long tunnel to hell set a record for recreating the story of Mục Kiều Liên searching for his mother through 18 levels of hell, making it the largest in Vietnam…
