Personnel preparation for the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, has been carried out methodically and closely, demonstrating inheritance, innovation and promotion of democracy. This is an important preparatory step, creating a solid foundation for the successful organization of the 1st Provincial Party Congress.

With a proactive, serious and highly responsible spirit, by August 25, all 139 Party Committees of communes, wards and equivalent levels in Gia Lai province had completed the organization of congresses for the 2025-2030 term, ensuring the correct progress, process and quality according to the direction of the Central and Provincial Party Committees.

The quality of grassroots party congresses has been significantly improved.

Implementing the Central's directive documents, especially Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 and Directive No. 45-CT/TW dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo on party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress, the Standing Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee has issued specific plans and instructions, while strengthening inspection, supervision, and timely and close direction at the grassroots level. Thanks to that, by August 25, all 139/139 party committees of communes, wards and equivalents had completed their congresses, reaching 100% according to the set schedule.

Of these, 4 party committees held congresses of all party members with a total of 644 party members, the remaining 135 party committees held congresses of delegates with 20,719 delegates, ensuring full representation and promoting democracy. The executive work of the presidium was flexible and scientific , ensuring quality of content and progress.

According to comrade Nguyen Huu Tuyen, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, the organization of this grassroots party congress not only met the requirements on progress but also significantly improved in quality. "The political reports and review reports of the Party Committees at all levels were carefully prepared, with a clear overview and orientation, accurately reflecting the practical situation, thereby determining the goals, tasks and key solutions for the new term," comrade Nguyen Huu Tuyen emphasized.

At the congresses, the democratic spirit was fully promoted. Delegates actively participated in discussions and contributed many specific and practical ideas to the Political Report and orientations for the next term. Many ideas focused on breakthrough solutions such as developing infrastructure, promoting digital transformation in management and production, improving people's lives, ensuring security and order, and building great national unity.

Congresses at all levels voted to pass the resolution for the 2025-2030 term with a high consensus rate of 95% or more. This is a testament to the unity of will and strong belief of cadres, party members and people in the development path of the locality in the coming time.

Propaganda before, during and after the congress was carried out synchronously, creating an exciting atmosphere throughout the Party and the entire people. The congress hall was decorated solemnly and in accordance with regulations, and logistics, security, order and environmental sanitation were carefully ensured.

After the congress, the new Party Committees promptly issued working regulations, assigned tasks, and developed action programs to implement the resolution; at the same time, proactively deployed key targets and tasks, creating a solid foundation for the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Personnel work of the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress: Democratic, objective, and following procedures

Identifying personnel work as the "key of keys", the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee has proactively and thoroughly advised the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to develop a personnel plan for delegates attending the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

In compliance with the Party Charter, Regulation No. 294-QD/TW dated May 26, 2025 of the Central Executive Committee and Directive No. 45-CT/TW of the Politburo, the Provincial Party Committee decided to allocate 450 official delegates, including 60 ex-officio delegates and 390 delegates appointed from 139 affiliated Party Committees, representing more than 147,000 Party members in the whole province.

Notably, the structure of the delegates reflects diversity, comprehensiveness and high representativeness. Of the 450 official delegates attending the congress, there are 110 female delegates (accounting for 24.44%) and 58 delegates are ethnic minorities (accounting for 12.89%). These numbers demonstrate special attention to the work of female cadres and ethnic minority cadres - one of the major policies of the Party in the work of building cadres.

In terms of work fields, delegates from Party agencies account for 50.44%; government agencies 36.67%; armed forces 5.11%; Fatherland Front and mass organizations 6.67%; other fields 1.11%. There are 60 delegates who are Provincial Party Committee members, 6 National Assembly delegates and 49 Provincial People's Council delegates.

A highlight of this personnel work is the careful, objective preparation and promotion of democracy. The selected delegates are all people with strong political will, good moral qualities, practical capacity, understanding of the local situation, and the ability to advise, propose and effectively organize the implementation of assigned political tasks.

Careful and thorough preparation in personnel work and congress organization not only contributes to creating new vitality in the political system but is also an important preparation step towards the 1st Provincial Party Congress - an important political event of Gia Lai province.
