Mui Ne Women's Union breaks through with 21 targets exceeded

The congress was attended by comrade Phan Thi Vi Van, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Vice President of the Lam Dong Provincial Women's Union, along with representatives of local leaders and 108 delegates, representing more than 8,000 women's union members of the ward.

Mui Ne Ward was established from 3 wards and communes: Mui Ne, Ham Tien and Thien Nghiep. The Ward Women's Union currently has over 8,000 members, reaching a rate of 62.07% and is operating in 27 branches.

During the past term, the ward's cadres, members and women have made efforts, united, achieved and exceeded 21 targets set out in the Resolution for the 2021-2026 term, through the implementation of the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era", the Campaign "Building a family of 5 no 3 clean" and 3 core tasks of the Association .

During the past term, over 95% of member families achieved the 8 criteria of "5 no, 3 clean". The Association mobilized and awarded more than 7,600 gifts worth 1.7 billion VND in the program "Millions of gifts to share love"; created conditions for nearly 1,300 members to borrow capital from banks; completed more than 16 tasks of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

At the same time, the Association has many innovations in the content and form of activities; established and maintained environmental protection models; supported start-ups, introduced jobs, encouraged women to transform digitally, and promoted typical products associated with community tourism development.

With the motto "Solidarity - Humanity - Innovation - Development", the 1st Congress of Women's Delegates of Mui Ne Ward, term 2025 - 2030 set out 9 targets, 5 key tasks and 6 groups of solutions to achieve the emulation movements and 2 proposed breakthroughs.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Phan Thi Vi Van, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, Vice President of the Women's Union of Lam Dong province, acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactive spirit and effective implementation of emulation movements and campaigns associated with political tasks in the locality.

Delegates agree on targets for the 2025 - 2030 term

On that basis, comrade Phan Thi Vi Van proposed that in the 2025 - 2030 term, the Ward Women's Union continue to innovate propaganda work, political ideology education, moral qualities, and lifestyle for members; at the same time promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of women, especially vulnerable women and children in difficult circumstances.

In addition, the Women's Union of Mui Ne Ward needs to focus on training and fostering female cadres, introducing outstanding members to the Party, contributing to the development of female Party members. At the same time, it is necessary to arouse potential, create conditions for women to confidently integrate with technological development, promote their own capacity, contribute more to society; thereby narrowing the digital gap, promoting gender equality and enhancing the role of women in community development.

Launching the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Mui Ne Ward, term 2025 - 2030

The Congress also announced the decision of the Lam Dong Provincial Women's Union to appoint the Executive Committee of the Mui Ne Ward Women's Union, term I, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 37 comrades, of which the Standing Committee has 11 comrades. Comrade Le Thi Thu Hai was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Ward Women's Union.
