According to the Circular, the Department of Science and Technology is a specialized agency under the Provincial People's Committee, performing the function of advising and assisting the Provincial People's Committee in state management of: scientific research activities, technology development, innovation, high technology development, strategic technology, development of science and technology potential; intellectual property; quality measurement standards; application of radiation and radioactive isotopes; radiation and nuclear safety; post; telecommunications; radio frequencies; information technology industry; digital technology industry; information technology application; e-transactions; digital government; digital economy , digital society and digital transformation; information and communication infrastructure; management and organization of public career services in the sectors and fields under the management of the Department according to the provisions of law.
The Department of Science and Technology shall comply with the direction and management of the organization and operation of the Provincial People's Committee according to its authority; at the same time, comply with the direction, guidance and inspection of the expertise and profession of the Ministry of Science and Technology .
29 tasks of the Department of Science and Technology
