(DN)- On the afternoon of July 2, the Department of Science and Technology held a conference to announce decisions on personnel work. Attending the conference were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son.

At the conference, Director of the Department of Science and Technology Pham Van Trinh approved the decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to appoint comrades to the position of Deputy Directors of the Department of Science and Technology including: Nguyen Minh Quang, Trinh Thi Hoa, Nguyen Thanh Phong, Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh, Vo Hoang Khai.

In addition, representatives of the Department of Science and Technology also announced decisions on receiving and assigning civil servants of the Department of Science and Technology; decisions on receiving and appointing leadership positions of departments and units under the Department of Science and Technology.

Accordingly, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Huong was appointed to the position of Chief of Office of the Department of Science and Technology. Deputy Chief of Office of the Department is Mr. Doan Van Truc.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lai was appointed as Head of the Planning and Finance Department; Deputy Head is Mr. Nguyen Cong Khanh. Mr. Dam Van Toan was appointed as Head of the Science and Technology Department; Deputy Heads include Mr. Le Huu Hoa and Mr. Pham Long. Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang was appointed as Head of the Digital Transformation Department; Deputy Head is Ms. Le Thi Lan Anh.

Ms. Tran Thi Hong Nga was appointed as Head of the Department of Quality Measurement Standards Management; the deputy heads of the department are Mr. Giang Vu Van and Mr. Tran Quang Thanh. Mr. Lam Son Ha was appointed as Head of the Department of Innovation; the deputy head of the department is Ms. Duong Truc Lam. Mr. Nguyen Phu Tinh was appointed as Deputy Director in charge of the Center for Science and Technology; the deputy directors of the Center are Mr. Dao Duc Thanh, Mr. Nguyen Van Du, Mr. Doan Hung Minh and Mr. Nguyen Hong Phuc.

Speaking at the conference, Director of the Department of Science and Technology Pham Van Trinh emphasized that the Department will promote the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and innovation to continue to accelerate the speed and breakthrough in science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation of the industry and the province in the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son requested the Department of Science and Technology to proactively advise the Provincial People's Committee to effectively organize the implementation of the goals and tasks of Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, contributing to the successful implementation of the province's socio -economic development goals.
