Final round of the 2025 CAND Mass Art Performance at Ho Guom Theater

After 2 months of organization in 4 regions nationwide, the 13th Public Art Festival of the People's Public Security Forces in 2025 will officially enter the final round at Ho Guom Theater from May 20-22.

On May 19, in Hanoi, the Organizing Committee of the Festival met with the heads of the mass art troupes participating in the final round. Talking with the heads of the troupes, Major General, People's Artist Nguyen Cong Bay, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Work, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Organizing Committee of the Festival emphasized: The Festival is one of the key political and cultural activities, with practical significance towards the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection. Thereby, promoting the glorious tradition of the People's Public Security force through the revolutionary stages, contributing to spreading the beautiful image of the People's Public Security soldier "bravery, humanity, serving the people".

The Festival Organizing Committee chaired a meeting with the heads of delegations.

At the meeting, the Organizing Committee and the heads of the art troupes participating in the final round discussed and agreed on the program schedule, official performance schedule, and the contents to note during the performance to best ensure the set goals and requirements.

The Organizing Committee notes that the delegations and officers participating in the festival must closely coordinate with the Hanoi City Police in leading the delegation to ensure the time for the competition; strictly follow traffic regulations to ensure the landscape at the venue. The leaders of the delegations must ensure the health of the actors during the final round of the festival; pay special attention to complying with the Public Security regulations. If the delegations have changes in the structure, content of the program, performances, music , actors, etc., they must report to the Organizing Committee 4 hours before the performance.

Many special art performances were carefully invested in by the police units and localities to participate in the festival.

The 13th Public Art Festival of the People's Public Security Forces in 2025 is part of a series of activities of the Ministry of Public Security to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Security Day. The Region I Festival was hosted by the Hai Phong City Police Department and held from March 6 to 10 at the Viet Tiep Friendship Cultural Palace in Hai Phong, with 22 troupes from the Public Security Forces of various units and localities, and 1 troupe from the Ministry of National Defense. At the end of the Region I Festival, 5 troupes won the A prize; 8 troupes won the B prize; 6 troupes won the C prize; and 4 troupes won the Encouragement prize.

The Region II Festival was hosted by Lam Dong Provincial Police, held from March 22 to 25 at Da Lat Opera House, with 16 troupes from local police units and 1 troupe from the Ministry of National Defense. At the end of the Region II Festival, 4 troupes won A prizes; 6 troupes won B prizes; 5 troupes won C prizes; 2 troupes won Encouragement prizes.

Heads of public art troupes of police units and localities met to agree on the preparation content for the final round.

The Region III Festival was hosted by Hue City Police, held from April 9 to 13 at the Song Huong Theater, Hue City, with 24 troupes from local police units and 1 troupe from the Ministry of National Defense. At the end of the Region III Festival, 5 troupes won the A prize; 8 troupes won the B prize; 9 troupes won the C prize; 2 troupes won the Encouragement prize.

The Region IV Festival was hosted by Kien Giang Provincial Police from April 22 to 26 at the Kien Giang Provincial Cultural Center, Rach Gia City, with 22 delegations from local police units and 1 delegation from the Ministry of National Defense. At the end of the Region IV Festival, 6 delegations won the A prize; 7 delegations won the B prize; 8 delegations won the C prize; 2 delegations won the Encouragement prize.

Based on the consultation results of the Art Council, the Organizing Committee has selected 36 excellent singing, dancing, music, folk song and opera performances at the festival to participate in the final round at the Ho Guom Theater. The performances will be performed by officers, soldiers and artists of the troupes on May 20 and 21. The Gala program to perform the excellent performances and award outstanding groups and individuals at the festival will be held on the evening of May 22.
