Exchange program "Hometown Tet Fragrance" in 2025

On the afternoon of January 26, 2025 (December 27, the year of the Dragon) at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site, Ca Mau Provincial Museum coordinated with relevant units to organize the exchange program "Hometown Tet Fragrance".

The program was attended by representatives of the Provincial Historical Science Association, journalists, cultural researchers, artisans, and people working in the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values ​​in Ca Mau province. In particular, the program was attended by a large number of students, union members, and youth from high schools, Binh Duong University - Ca Mau branch, and union bases in Ca Mau city. Delegates and guests listened to People's Teacher Dr. Thai Van Long, Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial Historical Science Association, provide a lot of useful information about the meaning of Tet and folk activities in the lives of Ca Mau people in the past and present during Tet. Delegates attending the program also participated in exchanges and shared beautiful and memorable memories in their hometowns during the traditional Tet holidays of the nation.

On this occasion, the participating units decorated the rural market booths according to the traditional rural market model, displaying and introducing typical Tet dishes such as banh tet, sponge cake, bean cake, sticky rice cake, ginger jam, coconut jam, sandwich cake... and organized exchanges and enjoyed "Hometown Tet Flavor" in a cozy atmosphere before the New Year of At Ty 2025.

The exchange program "Hometown Tet Fragrance" is one of a series of activities taking place at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site to preserve traditional Tet cultural values, creating opportunities for today's generations to better understand and appreciate traditional Tet customs and practices, thereby contributing to preserving the national cultural identity.
