Exchange and connection program for disabled children on International Children's Day June 1

(QNO) - This morning, June 1, at the Center for Supporting Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin and People with Disabilities in Quang Nam province, the Provincial Association of People with Disabilities in collaboration with Medipeace Vietnam organized the program "Exchange and connection of children with disabilities" on the occasion of International Children's Day 2025.

The activity is within the framework of the Project "Rehabilitation and improvement of quality of life for disabled children in Quang Nam province, period 2024-2026".

The festival attracted more than 350 participants, including 150 disabled children and parents from Nui Thanh, Hiep Duc, Tien Phuoc districts and Tam Ky city, along with representatives of local agencies and departments. In addition, the program was also accompanied by grassroots medical staff, teachers from project communes and 20 volunteers from Hoa Thuan Ward Youth Union (Tam Ky city).

With the spirit of "Integration - Connection - Love", the program is not only a useful playground, but also an opportunity to inspire sharing and spread love to children in special circumstances.

Many exciting activities took place in the program such as painting contests and group games, bringing joy, laughter and beautiful memories to the children during the festival.

According to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung - Chairman of the Association of People with Disabilities in Quang Nam province, children with disabilities are a vulnerable group, needing attention and creating conditions for them to integrate into the community. Today's event contributes to connecting children and parents, connecting the community of parents with children with disabilities to share and support each other in the process of raising children.

“Through the program, we hope to create a spread, calling for the whole society to join hands to protect, care for, and love children, especially children with disabilities, contributing to improving the quality of life, creating opportunities for children to integrate into the community and live in a safe, healthy environment for more comprehensive development,” said Mr. Dung.
