Continuing the activities within the framework of the first Cultural Festival of ethnic groups with a population of less than 10,000 people, the Culture - Tourism Week of Lai Chau province in 2023, on the evening of November 4, at the People's Square of the province, a Vietnam - China cultural exchange program took place.

Over the years, the Vietnam-China relationship has always been a special neighborly relationship, with mountains and rivers connected by a strip of land, close-knit people, and the same aspirations; the friendship and cooperation, cultivated by generations of leaders of the two countries and two provinces, has been increasingly enhanced and continuously developed strongly, becoming a valuable common asset of the two peoples of Vietnam and China, and the two provinces of Lai Chau and Yunnan.

The cultural exchange program includes singing and dancing performances imbued with cultural identity performed by professional and non-professional artists and actors from Lai Chau province and Kim Binh district, Yunnan province, China. Praising the love for the homeland; the beauty of Lai Chau land and people; the loyal and close neighborly relationship between the people of Lai Chau (Vietnam) - Yunnan (China) and the belief in a long-term cooperative relationship for mutual development to create a bright future. Thereby, further enhancing the solidarity, friendship, cooperation and development of the two countries of Vietnam - China on the path of international integration. At the end of the program, delegates, artists, actors, people and tourists joined in the solidarity dance, xoe dance and bamboo dance, joining in the joyful and exciting atmosphere of the first Cultural Festival of ethnic groups with a population of less than 10,000 people and Lai Chau Tourism-Culture Week 2023.
