The animated film "Super Speed Mouse" marks the first time Edda and Ed, the mascots of Europa-Park – Germany's largest amusement park, which opened in 1975 – appear on the big screen, celebrating the park's 50th anniversary.

Edda, a determined little mouse, manages an amusement park facing closure with her father. Driven by a burning passion for speed, Edda dreams of competing in the prestigious European Grand Prix and one day becoming a racer like her idol, Ed, the star aiming for his fifth consecutive Grand Prix victory. An unexpected turn of events puts Edda in a comical predicament: she is forced to impersonate Ed and enter the prestigious racetrack. In her new identity, Edda encounters the world of speed with its strict rules, the pressure to win, and fierce competition. It is also here that she learns more about Ed – a talented but arrogant and reserved racer. The challenges and conflicts on the track not only help Ed mature and become more courageous, but also open up a journey of learning to understand, share, and love between two seemingly very different characters.
Following Edda and Ed, viewers will be taken on a journey through the stunning landscapes of Europe, from ancient cities to treacherous race tracks. Interspersed are a series of breathtaking obstacles and vividly staged high-speed chases, providing a thrilling experience while remaining suitable for young audiences.
"Speedy Mouse" is not only captivating with its eye-catching visuals, lively pace, and charming dialogue, but it also conveys a heartwarming message about friendship, companionship, and belief in dreams. The film premieres on January 23rd in theaters nationwide.
