Previously, CAHN Club only allowed one of the three members of U22 Vietnam to participate from the beginning of SEA Games 33. That was central defender Ly Duc. The other two players, Minh Phuc and Dinh Bac, will only be able to join the team after the match against Laos in the group stage (December 4). The reason is that early next month, CAHN will have to work hard on many fronts. SEA Games is not a FIFA event, so the clubs do not have to make concessions to the national team.
Many teams in Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand did not even send players to the national U22 team to participate in the 33rd SEA Games. Therefore, the move from CAHN is understandable. This is a reasonable decision given the actual situation of all parties.
CAHN will compete in the Southeast Asian Cup C1 on December 3 and the Asian Cup C2 on November 27 and December 11, respectively. According to the plan, they will only let Dinh Bac and Minh Phuc join the team after December 4, meaning these two players will only have the opportunity to participate in the match against Malaysia in the group stage (December 12). Another case is Ly Duc, who was specially allowed by CAHN to participate in the entire SEA Games 33 campaign.

This decision shows that CAHN really needs Dinh Bac and Minh Phuc in the difficult journey above when they really need points to continue in the 2 international fronts. Minh Phuc can climb the border persistently, and actively appear in the penalty area to create a quality explosive point for the club while Dinh Bac is an effective "drill" on both wings.
But in the latest move, Coach Mano Polking affirmed that he will sacrifice for U22 Vietnam. "Dinh Bac and Minh Phuc will be given the opportunity by the coaching staff to join U22 Vietnam from the beginning," Coach Polking confirmed at the press conference after the loss to The Cong Viettel .
Thus, Dinh Bac and Minh Phuc have completed their match schedule for their home club in 2025. Right after the match in the round of 16 of the LPBank National Securities Cup 2025/26, they will move to the South to participate in the short-term training session of the national team before leaving for Thailand to attend the 33rd SEA Games. Vietnam is in the same group as Laos and Malaysia. The team's opening match is on December 4 and on December 12, the team will play Malaysia.
