PVF-CAND Club says goodbye to coach Thach Bao Khanh

PVF-CAND Club terminated the contract with coach Thach Bao Khanh after 11 rounds of unsatisfactory results in V-League 2025 - 2026.

On November 24, PVF-CAND Club officially terminated the contract with Head Coach Thach Bao Khanh. The team informed that both sides had agreed to stop cooperation on the basis of understanding and respect.

Although only aiming to stay in the V-League in the first season, PVF-CAND Club is still not satisfied with the results of the team led by coach Thach Bao Khanh.

After 11 rounds, PVF-CAND has only won 1, the rest are draws and losses. With 8 points, the V-League rookie team is in second to last place (13/14 teams), 1 point more than the bottom team Da Nang .

The season is still long, but the team's leadership has decided to make changes on the coaching bench. After parting ways with coach Thach Bao Khanh, PVF-CAND is eyeing coach Nguyen Thanh Cong for the captain's seat. The team is expected to announce this position in the near future.

PVF-CAND was established in 2018 under the name Pho Hien, and has only played in the First Division for many years. This season, PVF-CAND is promoted to V-League 2025 - 2026 for the first time not by an official promotion ticket or a play-off ticket (winning the play-off), but by taking the vacant slot left by Quang Nam who left the tournament.

This team has some U22 Vietnam players called up to prepare for SEA Games 33 such as Nguyen Hieu Minh, Vo Anh Quan, Nguyen Xuan Bac and Nguyen Thanh Nhan. The rest are young players with little reputation, or former national players or foreign players, naturalized players whose time has passed.

PVF-CAND is the fifth team to change coach in V-League this season, after Hanoi Club, Nam Dinh , Thanh Hoa and Song Lam Nghe An.
