PVF-CAND Club decided to terminate the contract with coach Thach Bao Khanh after a series of poor results since the beginning of the season.

On November 24, PVF-CAND Club confirmed parting ways with coach Thach Bao Khanh after negative results since the beginning of the 2025-2026 season.

PVF-CAND Club said that the decision to part ways with coach Thach Bao Khanh was based on understanding and respect. This season, the team is not playing well in the V-League, having only won 8 points after 11 matches, ranking 13th out of 14 on the rankings.

Although the season has not yet reached the halfway point, PVF-CAND Club wants to make a change in the coaching position in the hope of bringing a new breeze. According to information, this team is currently aiming for Coach Nguyen Thanh Cong for the vacant position.

In fact, PVF-CAND Club has not had the best preparation for the 2025-2026 V-League season. The reason is that they were promoted by special promotion.

Specifically, after Quang Nam Club withdrew from the V-League at the last minute, PVF-CAND Club was proposed to replace them.

Because the tournament was so close, coach Thach Bao Khanh and his team were not well prepared, especially mentally. Besides, they were also unable to bring in the most satisfactory new players despite the favorable conditions created by the Organizing Committee.

PVF-CAND was established in 2018 under the name Pho Hien, and has only played in the First Division for many years. This team currently owns a number of players from the U22 Vietnam team preparing for the 33rd SEA Games such as Nguyen Hieu Minh, Vo Anh Quan, Nguyen Xuan Bac and Nguyen Thanh Nhan.

According to statistics, PVF-CAND is the fifth team to change coach in V-League this season, after Hanoi FC, Nam Dinh , Thanh Hoa and Song Lam Nghe An. This proves that the Vietnam National Championship is taking place very fiercely and there is no room for mistakes.
