On December 20th, representatives from the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of the Ho Chi Minh City Police announced that they had coordinated with medical personnel to transport two corneas, two kidneys, and one liver from a donor to a hospital for transplantation into patients.
Two corneas, two kidneys, and one liver were transported to the hospital in time.
According to PC08, the aforementioned corneas and tissues were transferred for transplantation to patients at Cho Ray Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City Children's Hospital 2, etc.
This morning, the Patrol and Escort Team of PC08 coordinated with relevant units to escort the convoy transporting corneas and organs to hospitals.
During the journey, traffic was heavy due to rush hour. The officers and soldiers regulated and redirected traffic to help the group reach the hospital as quickly as possible.
