Opportunities also come with many risks, even fraud if students do not research carefully before investing in finance and stocks.

This is an existing reality, stated at the signing ceremony of cooperation and awarding of the "Steady Steps to the Future" scholarship in 2025 organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center (SAC) and Bao Viet Securities Joint Stock Company (BVSC) on the afternoon of March 8.
Must learn carefully if you do not want to lose money
SAC Director Le Xuan Dung said the great significance of the program is to provide clear, transparent, and accurate information related to financial investment and securities to students. To limit inaccurate information, to avoid students being lured by unofficial and fraudulent financial and securities trading floors.

According to Mr. Dung, students in particular and young people in general are quite fond of risky investments and making quick money.
This inadvertently becomes an opportunity for fraudulent organizations to take advantage of and appeal to the psychology of the young generation by inviting them to participate in the stock exchange or in disguised foreign securities companies.
Therefore, students must screen and research information about legal investment channels. Because with foreign stock exchanges, derivative stock exchanges, etc., if not verified, the possibility of being scammed and losing investment money is very high while lacking mechanisms and tools to protect investors. Meanwhile, the Vietnamese stock market is protected, guaranteed, and legally protected by the State.
Mr. Dung added that SAC is always ready to advise and consult students. In fact, the center has recorded and received information from students via email and text messages about a number of cases of fraud when investing in finance and securities.
