VPBank shares hit ceiling after news of music festival with G-Dragon

On the stock trading session on May 14, VPBank 's VPB shares hit the ceiling price of VND18,900/unit. At the end of the session, this code had a ceiling price buy surplus of more than 1.7 million shares.

Cash flow poured into this stock with sudden liquidity. By the end of the session, trading volume reached more than 95.5 million units.

VPB shares were also significantly net bought by foreign investors in this session with a value of nearly 322 billion VND.

The stock's rise came after VPBank announced it would hold the international music festival VPBank K-Star Spark in Vietnam 2025 in late June in Hanoi with the participation of Korean star G-Dragon, member of the Big Bang group, and K-pop queen CL, former leader of the Korean group 2NE1.

Today is also the trading day without the right to receive cash dividends, at a rate of 5% (each share receives 500 VND) for shareholders owning VPB shares. The expected payment date is May 23.

Another stock that also hit the ceiling early in today's session was HAX of Hang Xanh Auto Service Joint Stock Company (Haxaco). At the end of the session, this code had a ceiling price buyback of more than 1.3 million shares with a trading volume of more than 2.1 million units.

Regarding Haxaco, the company has just consulted shareholders about selling real estate on Vo Van Kiet Street, An Lac Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Total land area is nearly 6,283m2, urban residential land, price is not lower than 180 million VND/m2. Total expected transfer value is not lower than 1,131 billion VND. Implementation time is from May this year.

Stocks rose sharply on the day VN-Index officially conquered the 1,300-point mark. At the end of the session, the index increased by 16.3 points to 1,309.73 points. Liquidity on the HoSE floor reached nearly VND27,328 billion.
