Sa Pa Ward Police Find Property for Foreign Tourist

At about 3:30 p.m. on October 9, 2025, Sa Pa Ward Police, Lao Cai Province received a report from Ms. Archer Sharon Louise (born in 1958, Australian nationality) about leaving her belongings in a taxi while traveling from Cat Cat tourist area to Sunplaza intersection.

Immediately after receiving the information, the police force promptly deployed professional measures and quickly verified the related vehicles.

At 8:20 p.m. the same day, Sa Pa Ward Police identified the taxi carrying the tourists as a vehicle of Sa Pa Green Taxi Company, license plate 24F-004.58, driven by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Luc (residing at Phan Si Pang 1 group, Sa Pa Ward).

The Green Taxi driver returned the property to Mrs. Archer.

During the investigation, Mr. Luc said that after checking the car, he discovered a pink leather wallet on the floor of the car, matching the description of Mrs. Archer’s property. Mr. Luc brought the property to the police station to hand it over.

The police force verified, completed the procedures and returned the property to the tourist.

Touched by the enthusiastic, thoughtful help and high sense of responsibility of the police force, Ms. Archer Sharon Louise wrote a thank you letter, expressing her deep gratitude to the Sa Pa Ward Police in particular and the Vietnamese Police force in general.
