The festival attracted a large number of police officers, union members, youth of the provincial police and cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers at a number of agencies and units in the province to register to donate blood. Through health check-ups and blood screening tests, more than 550 people were eligible to donate blood, thereby receiving 551 units of blood. This amount of blood will contribute to overcoming the shortage of blood at hospitals and medical facilities in the area during the summer.
This is the 6th consecutive year that Lang Son Police have coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross Society, the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, and the Provincial General Hospital to organize the Voluntary Blood Donation Day.
The act of voluntary blood donation in Lang Son Provincial Police is not only a noble act but also demonstrates the spirit of volunteerism and responsibility for the community. The donated drops of blood not only save the lives of patients but also strongly spread the message of sharing and compassion in society.
