Tuyen Quang police built rafts to take people to a safe place to avoid storms and floods.

On September 30, due to the impact of storm No. 10, flood waters rose rapidly, causing much damage to people's property in areas across Tuyen Quang province.

According to records, in the communes of Ngoc Duong, Luc Hanh, Kim Binh, Bach Ngoc, Bang Lang, Thuong Son, many households had their roofs blown off, trees and crops broken, many roads flooded, landslides caused traffic jams. Some areas were isolated due to rising floodwaters.

Faced with the complicated situation of rain and storm, Tuyen Quang Police coordinated with local authorities to support people in responding and overcoming the consequences. 100% of the military force was mobilized, ready to fight, promptly respond to key points; arrange forces to control and guide, divert traffic, proactively put up warning signs for people not to go through landslide-affected roads.

Commune police officers and soldiers coordinated with local people to build rafts, promptly move people's belongings and properties out of flooded areas; organized a review of households in dangerous areas at risk of landslides and subsidence to move them to a safe place.
