The forum was attended and co-chaired by Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers' Union Luong Quoc Doan; representatives of central ministries, branches, experts, scientists, businesses and hundreds of outstanding farmers across the country.
This is a practical event to implement the Prime Minister 's Directive Conclusion at the Dialogue Conference with Farmers in 2024, and is also an important activity before the Prime Minister's Dialogue Conference with Farmers in 2025.

The dialogue focuses on four main axes: Commercialization of agricultural products in the supply chain - from purchasing, processing to logistics; development of local agricultural product brands, OCOP products and exports; digital trade connection: E-commerce, agricultural logistics, traceability; strategic orientation of domestic market and agricultural product exports.
In his opening speech, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien affirmed: "The Ministry of Industry and Trade is ready to listen to farmers' opinions, remove difficulties, expand markets, help farmers have a better life and contribute more to the economy."
At the Forum, many farmers directly raised questions to industry leaders. Director of Toan Thuong Agricultural Cooperative (Lang Son province) Vuong Thi Huong shared her experience in bringing wind-dried persimmon products to social media platforms and asked: "How can local specialties and OCOP products reach the international level through e-commerce?".

Director of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) Vu Ba Phu said that in 2024, the Ministry implemented 26 trade promotion projects for agricultural products with a budget of more than 26.5 billion VND, helping thousands of businesses and cooperatives sign contracts worth hundreds of millions of USD.
In 2025 alone, the Ministry approved 118 projects, including 38 projects for the agricultural sector with a budget of nearly 35 billion VND, prioritizing key products such as vegetables, seafood, coffee, pepper, rice, and deeply processed goods.
Regarding solutions to expand consumption channels, Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy Le Hoang Oanh informed that the Ministry of Industry and Trade continuously organizes "livestream sales" sessions for farmers and cooperatives, and at the same time issues the National E-commerce Development Plan for the period 2026-2030, which includes the goal of promoting and consuming OCOP products.
Many large-scale programs are implemented annually, such as Online Friday or ASEAN Online Sales Day , promoting hundreds of thousands of local products to domestic and international markets. The Ministry also operates the information portals Vietnamexport.com.vn and Ecvn.com to support thousands of businesses in building online stores and connecting exports.
In addition, training is given special attention. Every year, hundreds of e-commerce training courses are organized, helping tens of thousands of farmers and cooperatives learn the skills of opening booths, promoting digital products, livestreaming sales, and managing orders.
The Ministry also cooperated with major platforms such as Amazon, Alibaba, Shopee, TikTok Shop... to build OCOP booths, and at the same time deployed the "Vietnamese Floor" model connecting local e-commerce floors.

Experts attending the forum also emphasized that, along with market expansion, farmers and cooperatives need to proactively improve product quality, meet standards, and focus on traceability, packaging, and labels. To date, thousands of OCOP products have been standardized and put on e-commerce platforms, contributing to enhancing reputation and strengthening consumer confidence.
The representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade affirmed that they will continue to work with logistics enterprises, border provinces and international payment partners to reduce transportation costs, expand overseas delivery services, and ensure safe payment.
Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers' Association Luong Quoc Doan emphasized that the 10th National Farmers' Forum in 2025 is not only for listening and dialogue, but also a bridge between farmers - businesses - managers - scientists. Practical opinions and specific projects presented here will contribute to expanding consumption markets, increasing the value of agricultural products, promoting the Vietnamese agricultural brand in the international arena, and actively contributing to the goal of sustainable economic growth.
