Insurance companies urgently report and compensate for damage after storm No. 10

On the morning of October 1, the Ministry of Finance informed that the Department of Insurance Management and Supervision (Ministry of Finance) has just issued a document requesting insurance companies to urgently report damages, make advances and pay compensation quickly and fully to insurance participants after storm Bualoi (storm No. 10).

To promptly support organizations and individuals in responding and promptly overcoming damage caused by the storm, the Department of Insurance Management and Supervision requests insurance companies to proactively coordinate with relevant agencies, organizations and individuals to effectively respond.

“In case of damage, it is necessary to promptly determine (damage to people and property of organizations and individuals participating in insurance), immediately make advance compensation, compensate and pay insurance money quickly, promptly and fully to the insurance buyer and beneficiary according to the agreement in the insurance contract and legal regulations”, the official dispatch of the Department of Insurance Management and Supervision clearly requested.

Along with that, the Insurance Management and Supervision Department requested the Vietnam Insurance Association to coordinate with insurance companies to organize humanitarian support according to internal regulations and relevant legal regulations.
