Advisory Council for the evaluation and acceptance of provincial-level science and technology project code DTNNLC.04/22

Recently, the advisory council evaluated and accepted the results of the provincial-level science and technology project "Research and trial cultivation of yellow and white-striped melon varieties according to VietGAP to serve commodity production in Lai Chau". Chaired by the Center for Research and Development of Fruits and Vegetables, Dr. Trieu Tien Dung is the head.

Attending the council were: Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong - Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment - Reviewer 1; Dr. Le Huu La - Reviewer 2; Representative of Binh Lu Commune People's Committee, Provincial Farmers' Association, Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection... And representatives of the host unit and members from the Center for Research and Development of Fruits and Vegetables. At the acceptance meeting, the delegates listened to the project host unit summarize the objectives, content and results of the project. With the project objectives: Select 1-2 white-striped yellow melon varieties with good growth ability, high yield and good quality suitable for the ecological conditions of Lai Chau province; complete the intensive cultivation process of the selected melon variety (HP 6 melon variety), the economic efficiency of the model increased by over 16% compared to mass production; build a white-striped yellow melon production model, and train and transfer technical processes.

After listening to the summary report, the council members commented: The summary report was presented logically, fully implementing the content according to the topic's explanation. The unit needs to edit the overview, research methods, closely following the topic's objectives...

Concluding remarks by Master Nguyen Minh Hieu - Director of the Department - Chairman of the Council: He highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the host unit as well as the project manager who completed the project products. However, he also requested the project implementation team to accept and edit according to the opinions of the council members./.
