On the afternoon of October 4, a car carrying many tempered glass panels from Ho Chi Minh City to Tay Ninh stopped in front of a construction site on Provincial Road 816, Hamlet 4, Binh Duc Commune to unload the tempered glass panels.

Commune police and local people joined forces to lift nearly 10 tempered glass panels to rescue the two victims.

At this time, the car was parked on a sidewalk with a large slope. When the ropes tying the glass panels were removed, suddenly many glass panels (1m wide, 3m long) from the truck fell down and crushed two workers standing below.

At this time, the working group of Binh Duc Commune Police and the local security force were on patrol and discovered the incident. Together with the people, they helped lift about 10 tempered glass panels to bring the two workers out.

Two workers were taken to the hospital by the commune police for emergency treatment.

Two workers were injured in the head, abdomen, and neck area, bleeding and having difficulty breathing, so the Binh Duc Commune Police used a specialized vehicle to take them to Ben Luc Medical Center for emergency treatment. Currently, the health of the two workers is stable.
