
Speaking at the event, Lao Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Darany Phommavongsa affirmed that the "Lao Culture Week in Vietnam" is an important event, contributing to strengthening the special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States, and the people of the two countries.

The Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Laos emphasized: "These artistic performances deeply reflect the cultural traditions and lives of the people of the Lao ethnic groups; they celebrate the strong and loyal friendship between the Vietnamese and Lao peoples."
Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, Nguyen Hoai Anh, affirmed that Thanh Hoa and many localities of Laos, especially Hua Phan province, have a long-standing traditional relationship, being both close neighbors and close brothers.
Over the years, Thanh Hoa province has consistently focused on strengthening and expanding cooperative relations with Lao localities in many fields; in which culture plays a crucial role as a connecting bridge, where the feelings, souls, and identities of the two nations intertwine and spread strongly.

"Art exchange programs and cultural festivals like today are vivid proof of the loyal and unwavering friendship between Vietnam and Laos, as well as between Thanh Hoa and its neighboring provinces in Laos."
"This is not only an emotionally rich artistic celebration, but also an opportunity for us to recall the tradition of friendship and close ties between the two Parties, the two States, and the people of the two countries, and to look forward to a sustainable and effective future of cooperation," the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province emphasized.

Immediately following the speeches, the audience in Thanh Hoa was treated to a vibrant and colorful artistic program, featuring a series of spectacular performances by Lao artists and artisans.
The performance opened with the Silk Hand Sam dance, celebrating the skill and finesse of Laotian women on traditional fabrics.
Following this is the sound of the Lao flute – an intangible cultural heritage – blending with Vietnamese folk melodies, suggesting a long-standing cultural exchange.

The atmosphere of the program was vividly recreated through the Thai Dam Kep Kieu dance, depicting the bustling harvest season, the lively Ka Lo Pha Muon dance with traditional bamboo instruments, and songs rich in Lao folk traditions.
The performance concluded with a dance depicting the friendship and solidarity between Laos and Vietnam , illustrating the close bond between the two nations.

This art program is not only a colorful spiritual feast, blending modern flair with the traditional beauty of the Land of a Million Elephants, but also a vivid and emotionally rich testament to the great friendship and special solidarity between the two nations.
