The Vietnam U22 team is rushing to complete the final preparations for their semi-final match in the men's football event at the 33rd SEA Games against the Philippines U22 team.

He said that after the victory against U22 Malaysia, the players quickly returned to training, closely following the coaching staff's training plan to prepare for the match against U22 Philippines.

According to Trung Kien, the victory with a dominant playing style against U22 Malaysia provided a huge boost in morale and motivated the whole team to be more confident in continuing to perform well in the semi-final match.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper also said that the coaching staff always holds meetings after each match to analyze strengths and weaknesses, and then make timely adjustments during training.
In his assessment of the U22 Philippines team, Tran Trung Kien expressed respect for his opponents.

Although the Vietnam U22 team had previously defeated the Philippines U22 team in the semi-finals of the Southeast Asian U23 Championship, Trung Kien believes that complacency is unacceptable: "I don't think there's much difference. The Philippines are still a strong opponent. They beat Indonesia in the group stage, and the whole team is well aware of that."
Regarding the reduction of goals conceded, especially from set pieces, Trung Kien said that the coaching staff had thoroughly analyzed the poor plays so that the whole team could learn from them.
Sharing his personal goals for the SEA Games 33, Tran Trung Kien affirmed that his aim is to try not to concede any goals, thereby contributing to the overall result of the team.

The goalkeeper, born in 2003, also emphasized the spirit of healthy competition within the team: "Competition exists in any environment. Whether it's me or someone else who gets to play, when we have the opportunity to play, we will all focus and give our best."
The semi-final match between Vietnam U22 and Philippines U22 will take place at 3:30 PM on December 15th at Rajamangala Stadium (Bangkok, Thailand).
