Thanh Quan Commune Police propagate and mobilize people to hand over homemade weapons

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Implementing the peak period of general inspection, mobilizing the entire population to hand over and fight against crimes and violations of the law on weapons, explosives, supporting tools and fireworks (from July 28 to October 30, 2025), in the past time, Thanh Quan Commune Police (Thanh Hoa Province) has proactively and synchronously deployed many propaganda and mobilization solutions, achieving positive results, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the locality.

Commune police officers and soldiers and local security and order forces received homemade guns handed over by people.

The Commune Police have advised on the establishment of 3 reception points at the Commune Police headquarters, Dong Chang Village Cultural House and Na Ca 2 Village Cultural House; arranged staff on duty 24/7 to receive weapons, explosives, and support tools voluntarily handed over by the people.

In parallel, the commune organized 20 propaganda conferences at village and party cell meetings with about 800 participants; mobilized 912/2,570 households to sign commitments; conducted calls, deterrence, and individual education of 04 cases with signs of violations to proactively prevent.

People voluntarily come to the Commune Police Headquarters to hand over weapons and explosives.

As of August 28, 2025, Thanh Quan Commune Police mobilized people to hand over 04 homemade alcohol guns, 12 arrow guns, 01 sword, exceeding 106% of the target assigned by the Provincial Police.

The above results demonstrate the sense of responsibility and the drastic participation of the Party Committee, the government and the local police force, and at the same time affirm the trust and support of the people in ensuring security and order. The people not only strictly comply with the law, but also actively participate in the movement "All people protect national security", contributing to building a safe and healthy locality.
