This afternoon, January 6th, at the Quang Tri Provincial Police Department, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the decisions of the Minister of Public Security regarding personnel matters. Attending the ceremony were: Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Long Hai; Deputy Minister of Public Security, Major General Dang Hong Duc; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; and Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong.

At the ceremony, acting on behalf of the Minister of Public Security, the head of the Personnel and Organization Department announced the decision to transfer Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai, Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Police, to take up the position of Director of the Dong Nai Provincial Police.
Simultaneously, the decision of the Minister of Public Security to transfer and appoint Colonel Vu Van Dau, Deputy Director of the Criminal Investigation Department for Social Order, to take up the position of Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Police was announced.
Acting on behalf of the Minister of Public Security, Major General Dang Hong Duc presented the appointment decisions for the Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Police and offered flowers to congratulate the two officers who were transferred and appointed on this occasion.
Major General Dang Hong Duc affirmed that this is a testament to the trust and recognition of the Ministry of Public Security's leadership for the dedication and contributions of Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai and Colonel Vu Van Dau in the cause of protecting security and order, and expressed his hope that they will continue to uphold their leadership responsibilities in all aspects of their work.
Colonel Vu Van Dau, in particular, needs to promptly take over the assigned tasks and, together with the Party Committee and leadership of the Quang Tri Provincial Police, direct the successful completion of the set targets and tasks. In the immediate future, this includes effectively implementing the peak period of crime suppression and ensuring security and order during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake - 2025, and directing the preparations for the Party congresses at all levels within the Quang Tri Provincial Police.
On behalf of the Quang Tri Provincial leadership, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Long Hai acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive contributions and strong personal imprints of Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai during his time as Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Police, especially the highlights in force building and public relations work.
Regarding Colonel Vu Van Dau, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that in his new position he continue to develop his abilities and experience, closely follow the directives of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, build a united, clean, strong, professional, elite, and modern Quang Tri Public Security force, maintain political security and social order in the area, and serve the socio-economic development of the locality.
In his acceptance speech, the new Director of the Provincial Police, Colonel Vu Van Dau, expressed his determination in fulfilling his new duties and hoped to receive the attention, assistance, and support of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Party Committee, the local government, and the leadership of the Provincial Police to successfully complete the assigned tasks together with the entire Quang Tri police force.
