The conference was attended by Colonel Le Duc Hien, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Commander of the 16th Army Corps; representatives of the leadership of the 16th Army Corps' agencies; delegates from local Party committees and authorities, along with a large number of officers, employees, and workers in the unit.

Colonel Le Duc Hien, Deputy Commander of the 16th Army Corps, delivered a congratulatory speech and assigned tasks to the 719th Economic -Defense Brigade.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Le Duc Hien affirmed: The establishment of the 719 Economic-Defense Brigade is a significant political milestone, marking a new stage of development in the organization of the force, contributing to improving the leadership, command, management and task execution capabilities of the unit in the new situation.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Thuc, Commander of the 719 Economic-Defense Brigade, expressed the honor, pride, and determination of the officers, staff, and soldiers in fulfilling the newly assigned tasks.

The establishment of the 719 Economic-Defense Brigade was carried out on the basis of a thorough understanding of the Party's, the Central Military Commission's, and the Ministry of National Defense's policy on continuing to adjust the organization of forces towards being "lean, efficient, strong, and modern," meeting the requirements of building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern Vietnamese People's Army; and at the same time contributing to consolidating national defense and security in strategic remote areas.

Lieutenant Colonel Vu Van Luong, Deputy Commander of the 719 Economic-Defense Brigade, presented appointment decisions to the team leaders of the production teams.

Expressing profound gratitude for the leadership and guidance of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Command of the 16th Army Corps; the coordination and support of the Party committees and local authorities of Bom Bo and Dak Nhau communes and friendly units in the process of building and developing the unit, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Thuc, Commander of the 719 Economic-Defense Brigade, affirmed that, building on the traditions and achievements of the 719th Regiment, the transformation to the 719 Economic-Defense Brigade model will present many new requirements and tasks.

However, with the spirit of solidarity and high determination of the officers, employees, workers, and contracted households, the unit will quickly stabilize its organization, build a regular routine, improve the quality of training, be ready for combat, boost production, and successfully complete all assigned tasks.
