Accordingly, the Vietnam Records Institute - Vietnam Record Association issued Decision No. 3298, dated March 12, 2025, officially establishing a Vietnamese record with the content: A pair of ancient Southern bonsai, "Tam Cang Ngu Thuong" style, achieving the record value of Unique in Vietnam. The record was awarded to Mr. Nguyen Duc Tai (stage name: Tai Alex), currently a member of the Cho Lach District SVC Association.
Artisan Nguyen Duc Tai and his wife with their pair of cypress trees that have just been recognized as a Vietnamese record.
Artisan Nguyen Duc Tai said that the pair of cypress trees has the meaning of human morality, referring to good relationships in daily life and promoting the moral values of "benevolence - courtesy - righteousness - wisdom - trust". In addition to the above meaning, when he adjusted the shape, he created a shape consisting of a mother tree and a child tree, to talk about the sacred mother-child love that has always been the same.
Artisan Nguyen Duc Tai expressed his excitement and honor at receiving the record. In the near future, he will accompany the local SVC Association to carry out and organize bonsai cultural activities, contributing to the development of bonsai art and culture to bonsai lovers and the public near and far.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Vietnam Record Association announced the Decision to recognize the record pair of cypress trees and awarded the record certificate to artisan Nguyen Duc Tai. Delegates visited and enjoyed the pair of cypress trees that had just been recognized as a record.
