Announcing the establishment of a Vietnamese record for the Bonsai product - a pair of cypress trees by Artisan Nguyen Duc Tai

BDK.VN - On June 24, 2025, the Vietnam Record Association coordinated with the Ornamental Plants Association (SVC) of Cho Lach district and the 9 Thuong Bonsai - Ornamental Plants Establishment (Hoa Nghia commune, Cho Lach district) to organize a ceremony to announce the establishment of a Vietnamese record for the Bonsai product - a pair of ancient Southern Vietnamese cypress trees, "Tam Cang Ngu Thuong" style, achieving the unique value in Vietnam.

Attending the event were Lawyer Nguyen Manh Qui - Deputy Director of the Vietnam Intellectual Property Institute - Standing Member of the Council for Establishing the Vietnam Record Organization; Head of the Vietnam Record Project Development Board Ha Phuoc Dung; Record holder Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Chief Representative of the Vietnam Record Organization Office in the provinces of Dong Thap - An Giang - Vinh Long; Deputy Secretary General of the Vietnam Record Organization Tran Thu Phuong.

Accordingly, the Vietnam Records Institute - Vietnam Record Association issued Decision No. 3298, dated March 12, 2025, officially establishing a Vietnamese record with the content: A pair of ancient Southern bonsai pine trees, "Tam Cang Ngu Thuong" style, achieving the record value of Unique in Vietnam. The record was awarded to Mr. Nguyen Duc Tai (stage name: Tai Alex), currently a member of the Cho Lach District SVC Association.

Artisan Nguyen Duc Tai said that the pair of cypress trees has the meaning of human morality, referring to good relationships in daily life and promoting the moral values ​​of "humanity - courtesy - righteousness - wisdom - trust". In addition to the above meaning, when shaping the tree, he created a shape consisting of a mother tree and a baby tree, to talk about the sacred mother-child love that has always been the same.

Artisan Nguyen Duc Tai expressed his excitement and honor when receiving the record. In the near future, he will accompany the local SVC Association to carry out and organize bonsai cultural activities, contributing to the development of bonsai art and culture to bonsai lovers and the public near and far.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Vietnam Record Association announced the Decision to recognize the record pair of cypress trees and awarded the record certificate to artisan Nguyen Duc Tai. Delegates visited and enjoyed the pair of cypress trees that had just been recognized as a record.
