Princess Leonor (born 2005) - heir to the Spanish throne - has repeatedly attracted special public attention when appearing in military uniform.
This past January, she wore a navy uniform to attend Pascua Militar (Military Easter), a traditional military ceremony held at the Royal Palace of Madrid, Spain.

Her dignified yet charismatic beauty is hailed as the model for a future queen: brave and disciplined yet elegant and approachable.
During her first Pascua Militar ceremony as an official member of the Spanish Armed Forces, Princess Leonor wore a naval uniform, decorated with medals and ribbons of honor, including the blue Knight's Grand Cross sash and the ribbon of the Order of Charles III.
She tied her hair neatly in a low bun, strictly following military regulations.

Also attending the ceremony were King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia. King Felipe wore a military uniform with medals and honorary ribbons, while Queen Letizia wore a long-sleeved dress, exuding nobility.

According to Spanish royal regulations, the successor to the throne is required to undergo military training to gain the knowledge and ability to command the armed forces, which is part of the role of head of state.
In August 2023, when she turned 17, Princess Leonor officially began a three-year military training program in three branches: Army, Navy and Air Force.
Spanish media reported that throughout her training, Princess Leonor always showed seriousness, discipline and humility. She and her teammates participated in physical training, learned tactics, commands and survival skills in a military environment like all other students. There were no special privileges for the heir to the throne.
During a flag-raising ceremony in October 2023, Leonor moved the nation by loudly swearing her allegiance to the Fatherland and the Constitution, with confident eyes and an emotional voice.

The image of Princess Leonor in military uniform is not only a new royal symbol, but also represents the transformation of the Spanish royal family: from a traditional ceremonial image to a generation of leaders who understand the people, have practical experience and are ready to accompany the country in all aspects, including national defense.
At the age of 18, Princess Leonor is praised as the perfect combination of the noble beauty inherited from her mother, Queen Letizia, and the confident, calm demeanor of her father, King Felipe.

European media has given Leonor many compliments, calling her "royal female soldier", "Europe's new feminist model"...
After completing her training in 2026, Princess Leonor will officially enter more regular public duties and may be given more royal responsibilities. In the not-too-distant future, she could become Spain's first queen since Queen Isabella II (19th century).
