The ballet Swan Lake is no longer unfamiliar to audiences who appreciate classical art. Tchaikovsky's lyrical, romantic, and tragic musical melodies have contributed to the work's resounding success and made it one of the most famous ballets in the world.

This three-act ballet revolves around the love story between Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette – a tragic and dramatic romance filled with passion and betrayal. Notably, in Act 3, the Black Swan Odile will perform 32 extremely difficult fouetté spins.

In August 2025, within the framework of the HBSO's Autumn Melodies Art Festival, an excerpt from the ballet Swan Lake premiered and made a strong impression on a large audience.
Inspired by the ballet's special appeal, HBSO invested in staging the most complete version of Swan Lake, featuring a series of emotionally charged performance scenes. This performance also marks a turning point in HBSO's performance organization and for Vietnamese ballet art as a whole.

The performance was meticulously staged, with the collaboration and professional support of the Ho Chi Minh City College of Dance and Sasa Ballet.

The ballet Swan Lake will have one more performance on the evening of October 12th at the City Theatre.
