The Department of Industry and Trade's grassroots trade union organized the Pickleball Tournament as part of the activities of Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health in 2025 in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

Implementing the action program of Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month in 2025, towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025), and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the Department of Industry and Trade's grassroots trade union organized a Pickleball Tournament for civil servants, public employees and workers of the Department of Industry and Trade.

Leaders presented flowers and souvenir flags to units participating in the sports exchange.

The tournament took place from ^5:00 p.m. to 8:00 ^p.m. from April 21 to 23, 2025, attracting more than 30 athletes from the Department of Industry and Trade's Trade Union and the Market Management Department's Trade Union (invited unit). The athletes competed in two categories: men's doubles and women's doubles, in the form of a draw to divide into pairs.

This is a practical activity to promote the sports movement, improve the cultural and spiritual life, and improve the health of civil servants, public employees and workers in the agency. At the same time, the tournament is also an opportunity for athletes to exchange, learn, practice their competitive spirit, demonstrate the spirit of solidarity, honesty and nobility. Thereby contributing to creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, building a healthy and effective working environment; promoting coordination in organizing cultural and sports movements and building agencies and units that meet cultural standards.

 

Athletes took souvenir photos with leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade and leaders of the Market Management Department.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded flags, medals and prizes to the teams that won first, second and third prizes in each competition.
