Herbalife has just announced its Q1 2026 business results in its Q1 report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), showing that the Vietnamese market continues to maintain an important role in the company's revenue structure.
According to the report, Herbalife's net revenue in Vietnam in the first quarter reached $77.5 million , an increase of nearly 3% compared to the same period last year.
Notably, Herbalife stated that exchange rate fluctuations negatively impacted revenue in Vietnam in the first quarter of this year (by approximately $2.3 million ). This means that if exchange rate fluctuations were excluded, the growth of the Vietnamese market would have been higher than what is shown in the financial report.
Besides the exchange rate factor, the company also revealed that sales volume in Vietnam increased by more than 3% in the first quarter. Herbalife continues to maintain growth-boosting activities such as sports sponsorships, promotional programs, and sales events.
Another factor contributing to revenue growth is Herbalife's approximately 2.5% price increase for its products in Vietnam, starting in March. This marks the second consecutive year the company has implemented a similar price adjustment in March 2025.
Globally, Herbalife recorded first-quarter revenue of $1.317 billion , up nearly 8% year-on-year. The Asia-Pacific region was the biggest growth driver, with revenue of nearly $496 million , up more than 17%.
With revenue of $77.5 million , Vietnam continues to be Herbalife's fourth-largest market globally, behind only the US, India, and Mexico.
Notably, Herbalife's revenue in Vietnam is currently about $20 million higher than in the Chinese market – where first-quarter revenue reached only $57 million , a 12% decrease compared to the same period last year. This gap is widening. In the same period last year, the revenue difference between the Vietnamese and Chinese markets was only about $10 million .
In Vietnam, Herbalife Vietnam Co., Ltd. was established in November 2009 as a multi-level marketing (MLM) company. Vietnam is Herbalife's 71st market globally. Herbalife Vietnam has its headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City and branches in Hanoi and Da Nang, along with a number of representative offices/delivery centers in Binh Duong, Phu Tho, Nghe An, Hai Phong, and Can Tho.
The company specializes in providing health support products, weight management, and sports nutrition. In terms of revenue, it is the largest multi-level marketing company in Vietnam, surpassing the revenue of New Image, Amway, Oriflame, and others.
