On the afternoon of May 29th, at a press briefing held by the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Hai Phong City Party Committee, a representative from the Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade stated that the city currently has 10 petroleum depots with a total capacity of approximately 467,700 m3; two main distributors, 14 distribution units, and nearly 250 retail traders with a total of 498 retail gasoline stations.
The stores are distributed throughout the communes, wards, and special zones, and adequately supply the production, business, and consumption needs of the people.
Recently, in addition to selling RON95 and E5RON92 gasoline, some gas stations have pioneered the sale of environmentally friendly fuels such as E10RON95 gasoline and Euro 5 standard diesel. Many of these have already implemented these options at their gas stations since August 2025.

According to a representative from the Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade, on May 27th, the unit coordinated with the Department of Science and Technology to survey several retail gasoline stations and fuel depots that directly blend E10 gasoline.
From May 1st to May 26th, the Dinh Vu petroleum depot operated a blending process that met published standards, and the volume of E10 gasoline sold reached over 13,500 m3, more than double that of other gasoline products. At several gas stations that have started selling E10 gasoline, there has been much positive feedback regarding the implementation of environmentally friendly fuel.
According to statistics as of May 27th, 100% of wholesale and distribution traders in Hai Phong have implemented business operations, with nearly 90% of retail outlets having switched to E10RON95 gasoline. It is expected that by June 1st, 100% of all gas stations will be selling E10RON95 gasoline.
Also at the press conference, Mr. Phan Huy Thuc, Deputy Director of the Hai Phong Department of Health , said that the unit is urgently coordinating with relevant departments and agencies to develop a plan to implement Directive 17 of the Prime Minister on organizing free periodic health check-ups or screenings for the people.
Local authorities are applying a scientific model for scheduling medical examinations based on eight target groups, prioritizing war veterans, the elderly, social welfare beneficiaries, poor households, and near-poor households.
The examination results will be linked to form a national electronic health database. Residents of Hai Phong will have an electronic health record integrated directly into the VNeID application, allowing them to monitor their health anytime, anywhere.
