
Present at the polling station before the opening bell, reporters observed many voters dressed in their finest traditional attire amidst a bustling and enthusiastic atmosphere. Recognizing this as a momentous day for the nation, a national celebration, a large number of voters arrived early in the morning to share stories about the election, looking forward to this nationwide event with faith and hope for positive changes in the country and their homeland during the next term.
Mr. Dinh Van Bo, Party Secretary, Head of the Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Quan village, and Head of Polling Station No. 6, said that the station has 417 voters, mostly from the Muong ethnic group. In recent days, the polling station has actively disseminated information to the people and voters about their rights and responsibilities regarding election day. Voters have expressed their trust and expectations for the candidates in this election.
Many voters expressed enthusiasm, noting that in recent years, the Party and State have issued numerous policies and implemented programs and plans that have positively transformed the appearance of mountainous areas. Voters expect that in the future, the central and local governments will continue to implement policies to further develop mountainous and highland regions, improving the lives of the people. Voters in Dong Quan village believe that with their ballots, they will elect representatives who are virtuous, talented, exemplary, and worthy of representing the will and aspirations of the people, contributing to the development of their homeland and country.
At the polling station, immediately after the brief and proper opening ceremony, the voting process was implemented. Election services were organized scientifically and according to procedure; although a large number of voters arrived to cast their ballots early, all stages proceeded in an orderly and smooth manner as planned.
Cuc Phuong commune is one of the few mountainous communes in Ninh Binh province, with 17 villages, and the majority of its population are ethnic minorities. The commune has a population of 8,650, including more than 6,000 voters. For the 2026-2031 term, Cuc Phuong commune will elect 18 representatives to the Commune People's Council across 6 electoral units and 14 polling stations.
Observations at many other polling stations in Ninh Binh province show that from early morning, a large number of voters came to exercise their rights and civic duties. The opening ceremonies at the polling stations were organized solemnly, concisely, and in accordance with regulations.

Earlier that morning, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly, attended the opening ceremony and cast her vote at polling station No. 27, Hoa Lu Ward, Ninh Binh Province.
Ninh Binh province has 8 National Assembly election committees, 22 provincial People's Council election committees, and 833 commune-level People's Council election committees; establishing 2,536 polling stations and 2,536 polling teams. Among these are 18 separate polling stations located in specialized units such as armed forces units, hospitals, compulsory education facilities, compulsory drug rehabilitation centers, and detention centers, ensuring the right to vote for all eligible citizens as stipulated by law.
In Ninh Binh province, there are 35 candidates for the 16th National Assembly, 142 candidates for the Provincial People's Council, and 4,560 candidates for the commune-level People's Councils for the 2026-2031 term.
