Also attending were Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Ngo Xuan Thang and Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Tri Thanh.

Voters in communes proposed many issues related toeducation and the implementation of two-level local government. Voter Nguyen Van Bon, Hoa Vang commune, was concerned and worried about the recent high school graduation exam in 2025. According to voters, people completely agree with the policy of educational innovation, including organizing high school graduation exams to assess students' abilities objectively and seriously. However, through the recent high school graduation exam, reality has revealed a number of shortcomings, directly affecting students, especially those studying in rural areas and areas with many difficulties.

First of all, the content of the exam in some subjects such as Literature and Math is considered difficult and has many questions of a highly academic nature, beyond the ability of most high school students. Meanwhile, students who only need to take the exam to graduate are under great pressure to get good scores, just like in university entrance exams.

In addition, the current exam is a “2 in 1” exam, both for graduation and for university admission. This makes the exam stressful and cumbersome, creating pressure not only for students but also for parents, teachers, and schools. In addition, organizing a common exam for the whole country is not really fair because the learning conditions between localities are still very different, especially in mountainous communes and remote areas - where students suffer many disadvantages when accessing highly differentiated exam questions.

From these shortcomings, voters recommend that the Government and the Ministry of Education and Training soon review the high school graduation exam method in the direction of reducing pressure, assessing the substance of general education; adjusting the exam structure to be more suitable to the general level, increasing applicability and practicality and reducing the emphasis on theory and academics.

In addition, we must listen to the opinions of schools, teachers and parents, especially in disadvantaged areas, to make appropriate and realistic adjustments. “We hope that each national exam, especially the high school graduation exam, needs to be gentle, humane, suitable for the psychology of students and create fair conditions for them to have the opportunity to excel in their studies and life,” said voter Nguyen Van Bon.

Voter Nguyen Dinh Hung, Hoa Tien commune, said he strongly supports the policy of free tuition at all levels and agrees with the policy of studying 2 sessions/day to improve quality. However, many schools in the area still do not have enough facilities such as classrooms, desks, chairs, toilets, playgrounds, etc. Besides, the current curriculum is still heavy, especially in the final grades, causing pressure on students and parents.

Voters suggested that the Ministry of Education and Training find a solution to streamline and balance between learning and practical skills. According to voters, frequent changes in textbooks and the use of different sets of books at the same level of education cause many inconveniences, costs, waste and difficulties in learning and teaching. They suggested that there should be unity, synchronization and inheritance for long-term use and savings for the people.
