(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the morning of August 16, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command's Association for Promotion of Learning held a conference to summarize the work of promoting learning, promoting talents, building a learning society and awarding learning encouragement awards for the 2024-2025 year.

At the conference, the Provincial Military Command's Association for Promotion of Education summarized the work of promoting education, promoting talents, and building a learning society in the past time with many outstanding results. At the same time, the Association awarded units, families, and individuals of officers, soldiers, and employees with achievements in studying, competitions, sports, and technical innovation initiatives; and commended children of officers and employees who achieved achievements in excellent student competitions and achieved high results in the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Colonel Nguyen Xuan Toan, Deputy Political Commissar, Chairman of the Provincial Military Command's Learning Promotion Association chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were comrade Pham Quang Vinh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education; Colonel Tran Huu Tung, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the Provincial Military Command has 65 officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers attending training at academies and schools, improving their professional skills, and preparing for university entrance exams. Many comrades have overcome difficulties and strived to achieve high academic achievements. There were 65 groups and individuals participating in sports competitions at all levels, achieving high results, including 3 groups and 10 individuals winning prizes at the army and military region levels.

For children of officers and employees of agencies and affiliated units, 1 child won an international prize, 3 children won national prizes, 19 children won provincial prizes; 14 children scored 23 points or more in the 2025 high school graduation exam and were admitted to universities; 52 children won prizes in district-level excellent student competitions; 352 children were excellent students at the school level.
