Workshop on building the title "Learning Citizen" in the digital transformation period

On the afternoon of October 22, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education organized a workshop on building the title of "Learning Citizen" in the digital transformation period, promoting lifelong learning, practically contributing to the successful implementation of building a learning society in Lao Cai province.

At the workshop, delegates discussed and clarified the contents, forms and methods of building the title "Learning Citizen" in localities and units, such as: Solutions to build and improve the quality of the title "Learning Citizen"; the role of the Association for Promotion of Education in linking, coordinating propaganda, raising awareness among people about building a learning society, the core of which is building the title "Learning Citizen"; solutions to build the title "Learning Officers and Soldiers" associated with emulation movements of the armed forces in the new situation; building the title "Learning Citizen" for the team of management staff, teachers, students in schools...

The workshop highlighted the role of the Association for Promotion of Education in the relationship between levels, sectors, organizations and the community. From there, it meets the requirements of the new situation: Lifelong learning, digital citizenship to move towards digital governance and digital society.

Also on this occasion, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education organized a training program on professional work of promoting education, focusing on guiding the implementation, synthesis, evaluation and classification of learning models; guiding the establishment of organizations promoting education under the Association for Promotion of Education of communes and wards (education promotion committees; branches of education promotion associations); and discussing professional work of the association.

Training content contributes to improving the quality of Association activities in localities.

The training course aims to equip trainees with core contents in the work of promoting learning, promoting talents, building a learning society and lifelong learning; and to raise awareness and working skills for the team of education promotion officers at the grassroots level.
