Workshop on building the title "Learning Citizen" in the digital transformation period

On the afternoon of October 22, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education organized a workshop on building the title of "Learning Citizen" in the digital transformation period, promoting lifelong learning, practically contributing to the successful implementation of building a learning society in Lao Cai province.

At the workshop, delegates discussed and clarified the content, forms, and methods of building the "Learning Citizen" title in localities and units, such as: Solutions for building and improving the quality of the "Learning Citizen" title; the role of the Association for the Promotion of Learning in linking and coordinating propaganda and raising public awareness about building a learning society, with the core being the building of the "Learning Citizen" title; solutions for building the "Learning Officer and Soldier" title associated with the emulation movements of the armed forces in the new situation; building the "Learning Citizen" title for management staff, teachers, and students in schools…

The workshop highlighted the role of the Association for the Promotion of Learning in the relationship between various levels, sectors, organizations, and the community as a whole. This helps to meet the requirements of the new situation: lifelong learning, digital citizenship, and progress towards digital governance and a digital society.

Also on this occasion, the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning organized a training program on professional skills in the field of promoting learning, focusing on guiding the implementation, summarizing, evaluating, and ranking learning models; guiding the establishment of learning promotion organizations under the Association for the Promotion of Learning at the commune and ward levels (learning promotion committees; learning promotion branches); and exchanging information on professional skills in association work.

The training content contributes to improving the quality of the Association's activities in the localities.

The training course aims to equip participants with core knowledge in promoting learning and talent development, building a learning society, and lifelong learning; and to enhance the awareness and skills of grassroots learning promotion officials.
