Krong Nang Commune: Ensuring growth target of 8% or more in 2025

According to the assessment at the meeting, in the first 6 months of 2025, the local socio -economic situation continued to develop, with many targets reaching and exceeding the plan. The commune has completed the harvest of the 2024-2025 Winter-Spring crop and is currently entering production for the 2025 Summer-Autumn crop. The circulation of goods and market prices in the commune are relatively stable.

State budget revenue reached more than 4.4 billion VND (230% of the provincial estimate); 77% of commune roads were renovated, upgraded, and asphalted (100% of the plan, 102.67% compared to the same period in 2024); solid waste collection rate reached over 99%.

Cultural and social fields continue to develop; national defense and security are ensured; social security policies are implemented synchronously; people's material and spiritual lives are improved.

In addition to the achieved results, the People's Council of the commune seriously acknowledged some existing problems and limitations: the traffic system of the commune's main roads in some places has deteriorated; compensation and site clearance for some projects are stuck; the local real estate market tends to increase, leading to higher compensation costs than initially planned; the price of construction materials has increased, causing some projects and works to have problems and slow progress...

At this session, the People's Council of the commune reviewed and commented on reports and proposals submitted by the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Council Committees, the People's Committee of the commune, and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune.

The meeting also reviewed, discussed and voted to pass 9 important resolutions, which serve as a legal basis for organizing the successful implementation of political tasks in the coming time. These include resolutions on: socio-economic development tasks in the last 6 months of the year; supervision program for the last 6 months of 2025 and 2026 and contents on the operating regulations to ensure the increasingly effective and efficient operation of the People's Council of the commune; Resolution on converting residential groups into villages to ensure consistency in accordance with the provisions of law...

In his closing speech, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of the commune Pham Ba Thin stated: In order for the Resolutions of the session to soon come into life and achieve high efficiency, the People's Committee of the commune, departments, branches, unions, villages and hamlets are requested to urgently develop specific plans, organize serious, drastic and synchronous implementation. In particular, drastically deploy key tasks and solutions, breakthroughs to promote socio-economic development, increase budget revenue, ensure the commune's growth target of 8% or more in 2025; focus on implementing social security policies, poverty reduction policies, prioritizing resources for remote areas, extremely difficult areas, ethnic minority areas; proactively grasp the situation and handle well complicated situations in security and order, avoid being passive or surprised...
