Faced with the damage caused by storms and floods, Bao Viet Insurance has deployed all necessary measures to protect customers' rights and provide timely support to affected areas.
As of October 8, Bao Viet Insurance has recorded a total of 372 losses, with estimated compensation of 119 billion VND. Areas with large losses include Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, which were damaged by the storm; Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Lao Cai, Ha Giang , Cao Bang, Bac Ninh, and Bac Giang (old) were affected by flooding after the storm.
Regarding business groups, Bao Viet Insurance recorded that property insurance, construction works and motor vehicle insurance were the most heavily impacted types.
Enterprises maintain a 24/7 readiness status, proactively deploy working groups to affected areas, coordinate with customers to control risks and minimize losses.
On October 8, Bao Viet Insurance allocated 600 million VND from the Social Security Fund to support people severely affected by the storms. The money was transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the provinces of Quang Tri, Ha Tinh , Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Tuyen Quang and Lao Cai, each province receiving 100 million VND.
In addition to direct financial support, Bao Viet also launched a donation movement throughout the system, calling for the cooperation of officers, employees, agents and consultants nationwide.
