From now until the end of the year, the Traffic Department will deploy to speed up capital disbursement, especially in key projects such as the Ring Road 3 project, An Phu intersection - the eastern gateway of the city.
For the Ring Road 3 project, by the end of September 2025, the cumulative project disbursement was VND 2,619/4,481 billion (reaching more than 60%). In the remaining months of 2025 and January 2026, the investor will focus on accelerating project disbursement, striving to disburse 100% of the allocated capital.
To achieve the above goal, the investor has proactively and flexibly applied many solutions, including speeding up construction work (working in 3 shifts, during holidays...) to increase output.
For the An Phu intersection project, the Traffic Department has coordinated with relevant units to simultaneously implement the following solutions: Strongly handle contractors who are behind schedule, maintain continuous construction day and night.
The Traffic Department is continuing to monitor and consider applying stronger forms and sanctions such as transferring volume, terminating contracts, confiscating guarantees, reporting contractors who are behind schedule to the City People's Committee, posting information on the National Bidding Network, and banning construction in the city with contractors who continue to delay schedule in the coming time.
In addition, the Board continues to strengthen the project management staff, regularly monitor the project, coordinate with the supervision consultant to strengthen inspection, urge and promptly handle difficulties and problems arising during the construction and implementation of the project.
